MINI COUPÉ 2201 BY OLUCE

Coupé was born in 1967 from an intuition of Joe Colombo who initially conceived it as a variant of the Calotta lamp, already in the company's collection. Starting from these graphic and essential signs - the base, the stem and the adjustable cap to act as a lampshade - the designer gave life to one of Oluce's best-known families.

After having declined it over time in different models and finishes, Oluce expands the Coupé family by introducing Mini Coupé, the smaller-scale variant of the table lamp and proposed in a new fascinating and contemporary color range. In its 34 cm of height and in its colors, Mini Coupé collects with fun harmony all the strength that united the products designed by Joe Colombo in the Sixties, aesthetic gesture, experimentation with new materials, the use of color, movement and the desire to go beyond the usual patterns.

Testifying to the success of Coupé at an international level are the prestigious recognition of the International Design Award from the American Institute of Interior Designers of Chicago obtained the year following its creation and the presence in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York and the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich.
