This lamp is halfway between craftsmanship and industrialisation, with the intention of enhancing the ancestral know-how of potters. Combining tradition and innovation. With functionality at the forefront, and designed to accompany people in their contemporary rituals. The shape, an archetypal, timeless and evocative table lamp, is nothing more than the circumstance where the characteristics of the clay show its colours, textures and malleability, which its components (earth and water) give it. These modules are the supports for five earth tones and three textures. The colour and its tones, which range from white to chocolate, beige, terracotta and rust, together with Terra’s textures, are reminiscent of the material in its natural, original state. The first texture is slightly rough, reminiscent of matter in its natural state. The light gives it a tercio-hair effect. The second texture, made up of small rectangular marks, which were sculpted by hand and then copied with a mould, is a clear allusion to artisan gestures, made with know-how and patience. The third texture is marked by an irregular rhythm of fine lines, first sculpted by hand and then reproduced by 3D printing. In this texture, the lines embrace the light in a very fluid and graphic way. In Terra, the user can play with colours and textures, to create combinations, mono-colour, bi-colour, tri-colourmono-texture, bi-texture, tri-texture, etc. Creating a variety of expressions, from more abstract, discreet, to the most expressive, with accentuated contrasts.
