Designer Antoni Arola illustrates the making of Flamingo, a collection of pendant lamps where the shade is separated from the light source and the lamp is sort of deconstructed. It’s surprising to see the illuminated shades without seeing the light source. Flamingo achieves the ‘lightness’of a somewhat magical object.
