The geometrical shape is defined not so much by the full part but by the central emptiness, created by the laser cut of the thin disk which gives Glu its particular shape and light effect, making it lightweight and balanced.

The indirect light produced further emphasises the contrast between emptiness and fullness and creates interesting light and shadow effects.
